4. X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

It is a sequel to the 2014 film X-Men: Days of Future Past, which in turn was based on the 1981 “Dark Phoenix Saga” storyline. 5. Dark Phoenix (2019)

In Dark Phoenix, the X-Men have been hunted for decades by a threat known as the Dark Phoenix. When Jean Grey begins to manifest the Dark Phoenix persona, she threatens to destroy the X-Men and the Earth. With the help of Professor Charles Xavier, they attempt to stop her before it’s too late.

6. X2: X-Men (2000)

In this film there are two groups of X-Men, one led by Professor Xavier and the other led by Magneto, who are fighting for control of the world. Xavier and Magneto are able to unite most of the X-Men under their leadership when a global threat arrives. The film deals with the themes of peace and unity, and with the idea that one group of superheroes can’t save the world on their own.

8. X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

There were many changes in the X-Men franchise at the beginning of the 2000s. The first film in the series to be released during this period was X-Men: The Last Stand. The film is based off of the comic book “The Dark Phoenix Saga” in which Jean Grey is possessed by a cosmic entity who wants to destroy everything. This film is significantly different from the others in the series because it is the only one in which all the X-Men are sent to the past.

The Wolverine (2013) is a superhero movie directed by James Mangold. It is a sequel to the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine/Logan and Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier in their third and final film as the original X-Men team. It was released on July 26, 2013.

It is a sequel to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the eighth installment of the X-Men film series. This film is the first solo film to feature the Marvel Comics character Deadpool.

12. The New Mutants (2020)

The film is an installment in the X-Men film series, the twelfth film installment overall, and the sequel to X-Men: Dark Phoenix which is directed by Josh Boone with a screenplay by Boone and Knate Gwaltney, the film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Blu Hunt, Henry Zaga, Alice Braga, and Blu Hunt.

11. Deadpool 2 (2018)

Deadpool 2 is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Deadpool. It is the eleventh installment in the X-Men film series, and a direct sequel to the 2016 film Deadpool. It is also the second Deadpool film, following Deadpool 1. The film is directed by David Leitch and written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Ryan Reynolds, who also portrays the titular character.
